The Terms of Reference outlines the purpose, structure, and decision-making processes of the Stó:lō Collective. It serves as a guiding document that defines how participating Nations work together to advance shared priorities related to lands, governance, and collective interests.

Situated on the Coqualeetza Grounds in Ts’elxwéyeqw territory in S’ólh Téméxw, the Coqualeetza Indian Hospital operated from 1941 to 1969. Following the closure of the hospital, the building itself took on many uses, including its use as administrative offices.

The Collective reviewed the amended Terms of Reference (ToR), including clarifying minor vs. major decisions and proposed changes to sections 3.1, 3.2, and 8.0. Committee discussions covered historical challenges, exploration of a collective land code, right-of-way fund distribution, and the St. Mary’s property. The group also discussed community representatives, quorum requirements, and received an update on the Xyólheméylh modular project.

Since our initial meeting and working to get all the Additions to Reserve (ATR) BCR’s signed off, we discussed how we are going to work together collectively as a group.

All 21 BCR’s have been submitted. Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) accepted all BCR’s.
